A New Series from Variety and Armani Beauty

The brief

Variety Content Studio was tasked with delivering a premium branded video series for Armani Beauty at the 82nd Venice Film Festival a feat complicated by the citys unique logistics, limited access, and a tight production window. To bring their vision to life, Variety enlisted Cortino as a trusted production partner, capable of executing with precision under pressure.

We manifested Variety's vision, producing Giorgio Armani Cinema Club a three-part branded series where artistry, film, and conversation converged. Working directly with Armani Beauty and Varietys creative team, we matched the visual language of Armanis global campaign, crafting an atmosphere of polished restraint and cinematic intimacy.

Execution and delivery

Filmed entirely in Venice using our Italian partners, the production captured three hero episodes each roughly nine minutes long featuring pairings like Molly Gordon with Sadie Sink, Nathalie Emmanuel with Sofia Carson, and Julio Peña with Clara Galle. Despite strict scheduling and a one-day shoot, Cortino executed an international workflow that enabled same-day footage transfers to our US post-production team on both coasts.

Within two weeks, we delivered the full series complete with 90-second social cutdowns reflecting Armanis timeless sophistication and Varietys signature storytelling.
